Perhaps you're down or anxious - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Life can get difficult, and sometimes a little help from a professional Psychotherapist can make things better. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery. Polina Blinderman brings years of experience working with students and professionals with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and trauma to her work with creatives and artists alike. Polina loves helping clients move from burned out and overwhelmed to engaged and excited by their work.
Polina’s therapeutic approach is collaborative, empathic, compassionate, and non-judgmental.  Polina utilizes psychodynamic, behavioral, and mindfulness principles to support her clients in reaching their personal goals.

Polina has received postgraduate training from the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis, Chicago Psychoanalytic Society, Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute, Tavistock Group Relations, and Gottman Couples Therapy Level 1 Training.

Polina has worked in a wide range of settings, including non-profits, hospitals, university counseling centers, outpatient programs, and treatment facilities throughout the Chicagoland area.
